This takes all of one minute while you set up an account, Google play members information automatically entered. I do not see a major drain on my battery, about average of any other day without this software. I sense most problems are either memory related or simply phone compatibility issues. My Motorola runs this flawlessly and I am convinced it is a good buy. I also use Webroot on my home computer since buying my computer two years ago from Best Buy. I am pleased and will download this soon on my wifes phone and Nexus 10 Tablet.
